BRADFORD – Joanne (Keefe) Willett, 89, of Bradford, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, at Wingate at Haverhill surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Haverhill on April 30, 1930, daughter of William and Mary (Cummings) Keefe and graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1948.

Joanne was the wife of Robert Willett, Sr. for many years until his passing in 2008. They raised their family in Bradford and she worked for AT&T and local florists for several years, also owned Flowers by Joanne in Bradford Square for 15 years. She was a woman of great faith being a longtime communicant of Sacred Hearts Church. Her other activities included time spent at Seabrook Beach, especially walking the beach and walking through Bradford, volunteering with the Friends of the Haverhill Public Library, she enjoyed her Cuckoo Clock, most of all she adored her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her loving children Robert Willett, Jr. and wife Cathy of Salisbury, Patricia Fanale and husband Joseph of Bradford and Michael Willett and wife Laurie of Newton, NH; grandchildren Erik and Kyle Willett, Kathryn Fanale and fiancé Brendan Shine and Joseph Fanale and wife Dana, and Zachary Willett; many nieces and nephews; she was the mother of Thomas Willett who passed at a young age.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, August 1, in the Driscoll Funeral Home 309 So. Main Street, Bradford from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Friday morning in the funeral home at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
