So sad to hear this news about Don. Don and I worked together at Sun Microsystems and at EMC. What I cherished about Don was his enthusiasm for life and being happy and funny regardless of the situation. Don would also brighten the room! Don will be missed.

Shocked and saddened by this news. I worked with Don back in the SUN Microsystems day. Don was a great friend, and even though time passes and we lost touch, I still remember him helping us move into our house. He will be missed by many.

Donnie and his family were our neighbors. He and my daughter Jan attended the same Woburn Schools and were friends growing up. Don and Jan spent many nights hanging out together at our house. We are saddened to hear of his passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.
Sincerely,
Fran & Jim Traniello

So saddened by the news of Donnie's passing. We grew up together in the same neighborhood and were often the last two out after the street lights came on. Though we had lost touch, I think of him fondly every time I hear the Beastie Boys (he introduced them to me in the 80's). My condolences to his family.

My sincerest condolences to you Karen, Katelyn and Owen. Every so often you get to meet someone like Don who was friendly, sincere and all around just a nice guy. My son was coached by Don and I got to skate with him regularly. He always seemed to lighten up the atmosphere wherever he was. There is no doubt that he will be missed by many of us who had a chance to spend time with him.

Don was a stand-up guy with a great sense of humor, and was a great influence on my childhood. As my neighbor, he once paid me $60 to dig a ditch in his backyard and then paid me another $100 to come back and dig it deeper because I did a bad job the first time. Always fond memories chatting with Don. Rest In Peace - you will be missed.

I especially remember how kind he was to Chris, giving him a job digging a ditch! Our family has your family in our thoughts and prayers.
