Obituary

TEWKSBURY – Beverly "Bev" Ann (Way) Devine, 81, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Amesbury.

Beverly was born in Boston on March 12, 1937 raised in Melrose where she also attended school. She had a love for flowers and arranging them was her passion. She always had a beautiful garden and morning glories growing up alongside of her house. Her first job was working at Joe Cefelo Florist in Melrose. She worked at the Oaks Restaurant in Tewksbury, Avco Co. in Wilmington along with other jobs working with the public. She was an avid reader and enjoyed oil painting, sewing and arts and crafts. She loved spending time in the White Mountains, especially at her "Beckwith" family "Camp-U-Know" on Cherry Mountain. Bev loved her entire family very much and will be deeply missed.

Beverly, loving wife of the late Alfred Devine who passed away this past July, leaves behind her children David L. Perry, Jr. and spouse Jeffrey (Snelling) Perry, Stephen G. Perry, Allan Scott Perry, Dawn E. (Perry) Wolejko and her husband Paul and Brian D. Perry. Brothers Gerald H. Way, Jr. and his wife Cynthia in MD and Allen Kane and his wife Carolyn. Along with grandchildren Michael, Mark, Brooke Sheehan, Ronan, Stephen, Daniel and Jennifer; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; deceased family include her parents Gerald H. Way, Sr. and Pansy (Beckwith) Way. Her biological father, Roger F. Kane and many aunts and uncles.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 1, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial service will follow beginning at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beverly's memory may be made to either the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) at
